~ Do you ever feel as though you are all on your own and there is nobody to help you? During my time working at the county jail and at a rehab clinic I came across a ton of people who felt as though they were ‘all on their own’. Whether it was due to the pressures of life, work, raising a family, or fill-in-the-blank, many of my clients felt that there was nobody they could turn to for help; and when this occurred….many of them ended up making bad decisions.
—) Some of my clients drank alcohol or took drugs to drown out their feelings of failure or worry
—) Some of my clients turned to robbery to pay bills or feed addictive behaviors
—) Some of my clients became enraged and let their anger lead them to hurting people (both physically & emotionally)
