Do you ever feel that life get’s too complicated?

Suddenly you just want to run away because work, relationships, even church becomes too difficult?

I thought we were supposed to have joy from the blessings of God?

Ya we are supposed to “love” but how can I love in this situation?

Life is complicated because people are complicated. We have a hard time simplifying.

It’s not easy.

Today let’s allow the drama, the hurt feelings, the disappointments, the loneliness, the pain…all just fade away.

Just let God embrace you.

The things you are holding onto? Those grudges,  bitterness, sins, or guilt? Give them to God.

It’s just you and God. He is all you need. We don’t need to pretend we are fine. Tell him what’s on your heart. Remember that he loves you and he is the author of peace.

He wants what is best for you but we get so distracted. We think we know better. We have been hurt. We struggle with temptations.

God loves us relentlessly! Allow him to love you, heal you,  and give you the strength for your day.

Let’s live out of the quiet knowledge of his love. When we quiet our minds and become still before God, we can’t help but live with freedom.

Sometimes we allow people or even our emotions to tell us who we are. But God has called you his child and loves you. We need to start there and move out from that place of identity and rest with Christ.

It’s hard to grasp the peace God gives because it’s so contrary to the loud chaos of society.

Let’s take some time away from distractions, quiet our minds, hold our tongues, and listen to our Creator, so we can love relentlessly with out holding back. Let’s take our joy back and aim to live in the presence of God wherever we go.

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.  Psalm 46:1

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 16:33
